Chef Kyle is a community activist out of Long Beach, CA. From the onset of his professional career, he’s been on a journey to share the experience of his plant-based lifestyle for the purposes of mental and physical healing, with the people in the communities he grew up in and around.
After making solid connections in the agricultural and culinary industries by way of managing local farmers markets, Kyle founded the nonprofit organization, Market LOVr. Since 2015, Market LOVr has served the communities of Long Beach, Compton, and South Central Los Angeles through donation-based pop-ups, free cooking demonstrations as well as teaching basic cooking skills classes for K-12 students. With a focus on nutrition education, Market LOVr empowers the community to make healthy lifestyle choices.
Since the start of the pandemic, Chef Kyle has continued to assist individuals and families in need by providing access to affordable healthy food options through the operation of his pickup food service as well as hosting private in-person and virtual group cooking classes.
